Stewardship Message from the Pastor
“What do you think? Which of the three became a neighbor to the man attacked by robbers?” “The one who treated him kindly,” the religion scholar responded.  Jesus said, “Go and do the same.”
Luke 10:36-37  (The Message)

At Grace United Church of Christ, we are followers of Jesus seeking to worship, pray, serve, and grow.  As God has abundantly given to us, we give our time, talent, and treasure to share God’s love and to work for justice and peace in our neighborhood and around the world.
Like most churches, we are a non-profit organization primarily funded by those who worship at Grace Church. In addition to gifts and offerings during worship, many of us make an estimate of our giving for the upcoming year so that our leaders can faithfully plan for mission and ministry.  Grace UCC uses those funds for operating costs – including building upkeep and
staff - and formission work including the Just in Time Food Ministry and the Backpack Mission housed at Grace and Our Church’s Wider Mission benefitting the United Church of Christ mission across the country and around the globe.
Grace is a vibrant community of Christians who come together to serve God and support each other as we continue on life’s journey.  Many of Jesus’ followers who worship at Grace UCC have personal stories of ministry and mission to share.  During the Season of Stewardship, as we all consider the vision of Grace Church for the coming year, let us listen to each other’s stories, celebrate our mission and ministry, and then look beyond what we have done in the past to what we will do in the future God is laying out and blessing before us.
